Tax Sale Frequency
Any property not redeemed by March 15 following the lapse of four years from the date when the property tax became delinquent will be included in the annual real property Tax Sale held in May or June.
The Tax Sale listings will be available in the Auditor's Office and online 4 weeks proceeding the date of the Tax Sale and will be updated regularly up to the day of the sale.
The Tax Sale is advertised in the Park Record 4 times, once in each of the 4 successive weeks immediately preceding the date of the Tax Sale.
The Summit County 2016 Tax Sale will be held on May 26, 2016 at 10 a.m. in the Council Chambers:

Coalville, UT 84017
Any property unsold at the Tax Sale which is not in the public interest to be recertified to a subsequent sale shall become county property.

Properties Sold for More Than Amount Due
Any sale funds in excess of the amount for delinquent taxes, penalties, interest and administrative fees will be forwarded to the State Treasurer and treated as unclaimed under Title 67.
