Public Art Program

Mission

The mission of the Summit County Public Art Advisory Board is to celebrate and unite Summit County residents through public art.

Summit County Public Art Program

In April, 2008, the Summit County Board of County Commissioners affirmed their belief that the aesthetic nature and charm of Summit County is further enhanced by the arts and an awareness of the visual arts. Through ordinance 696, the Commissioners created the Summit County Public Art Program and Advisory Board. The County Commissioners allocated 1% of capital facility funds as seed money for the new program.

The Summit County Public Art Advisory Board meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 4:00 p.m. at the Sheldon Richins Building (1885 W. Ute Blvd., Park City), and sometimes at other locations throughout the county as needed. Members of the public are welcome to join the meetings in person or via Zoom. Agendas and minutes can be found in the Agenda Center  and on the Utah Public Notice Website.
