Energy and Data Analyst

Summit County is recruiting an Energy and Data Analyst to assist our county in the implementation of sustainability-related projects and processes, by providing verification and essential data to align county resources. This Analyst will be responsible for facility energy audits and fleet utilization analysis. Considerable knowledge is required of environmental sustainability and its related challenges, opportunities, and potential for local government involvement, factors contributing to climate change, energy usage and efficiency, renewable energy, and greenhouse gas emissions. Significant skill in analytical and statistical concepts and tools, research methodology, graphic presentation of data, organization, and prioritization is essential.

Minimum Qualifications 
Minimum Qualifications a bachelor’s degree in Energy Engineering, Facilities Management, Sustainability, Environmental Science, Energy Management, or closely related field and two years of full-time related experience in HVAC controls or Industrial energy management, preferably including experience in managing a building automation control system

Special Qualifications - a valid driver’s license and familiarity with Energy Star Portfolio Manager. LEED certification and/or Building science knowledge is a plus.

Salary Range:

  • Energy & Data Analyst: $23.64 – $33.11/hr. time-limited position
