
The Small Municipality Transportation Improvement Fund Grant Program (TIFGP) provides funding to regionally significant transportation facilities within the county, including cities, or for new capacity or congestion mitigation projects.
The Council of Governments will annually accept Project Concept Development Reports/Applications proposed to be funded by the County Option for Transportation Sales and Use Tax and create a priority list of the regionally significant transportation facility projects. Project Concept Development Reports/Applications will be distributed to the Council of Governments for review and subsequently discussed in public by the Council of Governments at their regularly scheduled meeting in May. The priority list of regionally significant transportation facility projects will then be presented to the County Council for final approval at the first available meeting following the recommendation of the Council of Governments.
