Justice Court Due to COVID-19, the Justice Court has postponed court hearings until April. Any hearings scheduled before that time will be rescheduled. During this period of time, warrants for failure to appear will not be issued. Existing payments can be made by paying online. If you have a pending matter that needs immediate attention, or you’re an out-of-state or out-of-country worker who needs to be seen prior to April 1st, please contact the Court by calling 435-615-3802 or emailing email@example.com so we can individually address your concerns.
April hearings will be reviewed in the next few weeks. Notice will be provided if those hearings will be postponed or rescheduled.
The Justice Court is still open and operational. While hearings have been postponed, Court staff will still be available to answer questions and collect in-person payments.
Any further questions can be directed to the Court by calling 435-615-3802 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.

After careful consideration and to protect the well-being of our patrons and staff against the coronavirus outbreak, we have decided to close all Summit County Library branches starting Friday, March 13th, at 4 PM, until further notice. We will continue to update our website and social media channels as information becomes available.
Library Resources Available During Closure
Digital Resources: Online services are available at https://www.thesummitcountylibrary.org/databases for cardholders, including a large collection of digital materials such as books, audiobooks, magazines, movies, and television shows, as well as research tools for online learning. You can sign up for a card on our website at https://borrow.summitcounty.org:8445/onlineBorrowerRegistration.html. If you register online, we will assign you temporary credentials so you can use our online resources. You will be emailed within a few days with a permanent card number and PIN.
Returns: Materials may still be returned to outside book drops at all locations. Librarians will work to check items in. Don’t worry if you’re unable to make it to the library or if you receive any overdue notices; we will renew any overdue materials in the interim.
Holds and the Henefer Remote Locker: All current hold items will be held at the branches until we reopen. In addition, the library maintains a system in Henefer that allows patrons to place items on hold for pickup at the locker. Since it does not require in-person contact to function, this system will remain in effect.
We appreciate your understanding and continued support as we work through this unprecedented event. Our librarians will continue to provide support as needed. You may contact us https://www.thesummitcountylibrary.org/ask-librarian-form with questions and general guidance. If you need to speak directly to a librarian, please call 435-615-3900.
Motor Vehicles The DMV will be suspending counter service effective Monday. We will be providing services via phone & email, and as of now DMV services are still available in neighboring counties.

Mountain Regional Water Our office will remain open in a very limited capacity with the exception of today, I have closed the office. I have the majority of our office staff working remotely to keep the head count down in our office space. We are placing a sign on the door which asks customers to only come in if it’s absolutely necessary. We prefer they use email and telephone to contact our Customer Service Team. We have a number of other functional precautions in place but they are not relevant to our office hours or public accommodation.
