In 2012, an amendment was included in the revision of the Workforce Housing Code that addresses the HOA dues problem for unit owners, i.e., for affordable home buyers.. This code does not pertain to housing developed prior to the code therefore the benefit of the code is not realized by affordable homeowners who find fair market rates of HOA dues and assessments to be hardships and defeats the essence of the affordable home buying program as well as the spirit of the code that clearly recognizes this hardship for affordable home owners.

Summit County diverted the Old Ranch Road entry to its present location. The diversion was done to reduce traffic intersections along Highway 224. In our opinion, the County is great at starting projects, but not finishing or maintaining them.
Old Ranch Road Corridor is now home to several neighborhoods of multimillion-dollar homes and the beautiful Willow Creek and Matt Knoop parks. The corridor is also a gateway to many sports enthusiasts including road bikers, joggers and winter sports enthusiasts. At the very least, we believe the County should have finished what they started and set up some sort of maintenance plan at the time of the diversion of Old Ranch Road.
Currently the condition of the entryway is pathetic. With all of the beauty surrounding us here, how can we all be so complacent with the entry to our homes looking like a junkyard?

I have photos taken this winter where sidewalks are frequently plowed over and snow stored on sidewalks forcing pedestrians into the slippery street with distracted drivers. It's illegal and my pet peeve. One's ability to walk everywhere is Redstone's most valuable feature. I'd love to share my pictures and ideas on how we make everyone safer!
