1. Dark Sky Ordinance

   I would like to see a dark sky ordinance for Summit County, the new Hyatt Place sign fits in better in Vegas than it does in a mountain community.

   This track is extremely loud, the owner has taken all the native bushes from the banks of the weber. He is proposing a commercial track, which would be very loud, and take away from the quiet and peaceful nature of this area . It would adversely affect users of the railtrail and people fishing and enjoying the river. It threatens the river quality. It does not fit with the rural nature of this area.

   I would like to organize an effort to plant trees along the Coalville portion of the Rails to Trails. Trees would significantly reduce the noise pollution from I-80, as well as provide a better sense of place along the trail. There are ditches that can adequately water the trees so no water line would be needed.

4. Public Access hiking/biking trails in the Hi Ute Ranch open space

   Perhaps this is already in the works but if not then I would like to know why? Getting the Hi Ute Ranch open space was an amazing accomplishment and it is such a beautiful area that our community...

   Perhaps this is already in the works but if not then I would like to know why? Getting the Hi Ute Ranch open space was an amazing accomplishment and it is such a beautiful area that our community would love to explore.
