In Silvercreek the past many years everyone wants to build their own indoor arena for their horses. This has created open space issues as everyone wants to build their own 12,000+ SF arena on their own lots creating a very industrial feel. I was thinking it would be great if we could take land over on Echo Drive that has been ear marked for a park and place an indoor arena there for public equestrian use. In all of synderville basin there is no public gathering for equestrians. If equestrians want to ride 5 months of the year we trailer to Oakley(one of the only public arenas in summit county or to Wasatch County. This could preserve the equestrian heritage of Park City before all the horses are gone.
