Erin was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska where she realized mountains and open space in your backyard are essential to creativity. She moved to Utah in 1999 to pursue ski racing. After spending a semester abroad in Florence, Italy during college she realized how public art is an essential aspect of the community and local culture.
She received a bachelors degree in psychology from Bates College in 2006 and a master of science in environmental humanities from the University of Utah in the fall of 2011. She is looking forward to being able to aid in decisions promoting an enhanced visual environment for Summit County residents by serving on the Public Arts Program and Advisory Board.
